These tea blends are meant to align the inner elements and forces of the body, to the outer elements and forces of the universe. Irregularity can be a symptom of imbalances in the three Ayurvedic mind-body types, or doshas: Vata, Pitta and Kapha. Mental imbalances associated with Vata types commonly manifest as bloating, gas or distention, and can be counteracted with triphala, which boosts absorption and circulation in the GI tract.
